page
prints.
You did not wait long
enough.
Did you wait long enough? From a cold start,
the printer takes approximately 3 minutes to
warm up. Be sure you wait long enough for a
startup page before suspecting a problem.
Print startup is not
enabled.
Make sure the option to print startup is enabled
in Administration/Startup Options/Do Startup
Page.
The defaults have
been changed.
Perform a restore defaults on the printer.
From your control panel, select Administration/
Miscellaneous/Restore Defaults/Factory
Defaults/Yes.
Can you print a simple sentence such as “This
is a test.” from a simple application on your
computer (for example, WordPad or Note-
pad)? From your start menu on your computer,
select Start/Programs/Accessories/WordPad.
You haven’t rebooted
the printer.
Reboot the printer and reprint the job. Do you
get an error page?
