"Memory Overflow" message when attempting to scan with the Pi5500 controller.
Solution
CAUSE: This indicates insufficient memory for scanning.
SOLUTION: Please make sure that both the printer and controller have memory upgrades installed. The printer must have the 32MB upgrade installed and
the optional hard disk for the printer is recommended.
Notes:
1. If the memory has already been upgraded, it is possible that the memory is defective.
2. For reference, refer to the Di470 Configuration Guide.

While feeding originals using the EDH when Copy Track is enabled, the copier intermittently locks up. The machine must be powered OFF/ON to resume
copying.
Solution
CAUSE: Firmware problem.
SOLUTION: The firmware of the copier was upgraded to address this issue. Please see bulletin 4268a for details on this problem. The current firmware is

After installing the Pi4700e the copier is displaying C-12Cx codes.
Solution
CAUSE: Incorrect setting.
SOLUTION: If the copier does not have a hard disk, this code could be caused by an incorrect setting. It is not necessary to turn ON the HDD under "System
Input" of the Tech. Rep. Mode when the Pi4700e is installed with the controller HDD. This setting should only be made when the copier's HDD has been
installed.
