"Memory Overflow" is displayed when attempting to scan with the controller.
Solution
CAUSE:
This indicates insufficient memory for scanning.
SOLUTION:
Please make sure that both the copier and controller have memory upgrades installed. The copier must have the 32 MB upgrade installed and the optional
hard disk for the copier is recommended. For the Pi4700e and Pi5501 the 128 MB controller upgrade should also be installed.
If the memory has already been upgraded, it is possible that the memory is defective.

Service Bulletin 3646 shows the correct Peripheral Mode settings on the copier.
