Solution
CAUSE: Excessive light (for example, from overhead lighting) can cause erroneous signals during paper size detection.
SOLUTION: The paper size detection sensors have been changed to minimize the amount of light from outside sources effecting the sensors. Please see

S-18. To get into the "Tech Rep Mode," press the "Utility" key. The second box from the left is "Meter Count." Press Meter Count and then Stop, 0, 0, Stop, 0,
